Jane Falkenberry Duke, age 93, passed away at home on December 17, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucy Monk Falkenberry and Herndon Croom Falkenberry; her husband, William H. Duke and brothers, William Falkenberry and Roswell Falkenberry.
Surviving are her children, Paul H. Duke (Mary) and Lynn Duke Phelps (Larry); grandchildren, Andy Phelps (Jennifer), Mark Phelps (Michaela), Kristina Phelps, Christopher Duke (Laurena), and Kristen Cooper (Matthew); great-grandchildren, Emily Phelps, Ethan Phelps, Will Duke, Katelyn Duke and Blanton Cooper; five nieces and four nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her devoted caretakers, Trish Curtin and Jennifer Miller.
Mrs. Duke graduated from Parrish High School and worked for the Social Security Administration for twenty years. She was a lifetime member of Elkdale Baptist Church and volunteered for Meals on Wheels.
She will be truly missed by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2020 in New Live Oak Cemetery with Brother Cory Horton officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Elkdale Baptist Church, 2221 Elkdale Street, Selma, AL 36701.
