William D. Patrick, Jr. age 36 of Huntsville and formerly of Selma passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.
He graduated from Dallas County High School in 2003. He was very active in school, in the top 10 % of his class, and won many scholarships to college. He was a very hard worker his whole life. At the age of 12, he worked at T.A.Thacker Paint Company, until he went to college, where the men treated him kindly. Mr. Thacker was a wonderful person for him to look up to and he learned so much from him. He attended and graduated from UAH with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. He has always been a talented artist. He loved video games, his gamer community, and his pets. He will be greatly missed, but always remembered for his outgoing and caring personality. ??
He is survived by his wife, Alisha Patrick; parents, William David and Jackie A. Patrick; Sister: Darla (Jake) Day; mother in law, Lydia Gipson; sister in law, Lisa Rodenberry; sister in law, Teresa (Tommy) Bartek; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Msgt. Jerry W. Ensey; grandmother, Mrs. Darla M. Barton; grandfather, Msgt. William A. Patrick Jr.; grandmother, Mrs. Betty J. Patrick; and father in law, Mr. Donald Gipson.
?A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Berryhill Funeral Home in Huntsville located at 2305 N. Memorial Pkwy., Huntsville, Alabama 35810 on Saturday, July 16, 2022. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
