William Augustus "Billy" McCormick, Jr., age 74, of Tyler, AL passed away July 7, 2019.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Elizabeth Crosby and Willaim Augustus "Gus" McCormick, Sr. and stepdaughter, Karen Sue Burt Braat.
He is survived by his wife, Anette McCormick; sister, Millie Ledford; brother, Eugene (Sylvia) McCormick; children, Kim McCormick, Amy (Billy) Freeman, Melissa (Mark) Bilter and grandchildren, Joey Braat, Christian Freeman, Conner Freeman, Hayden Moreland, Gabriella Bilter, Ryder Bilter, Ansley Freeman, Railene Bilter and one great-grandchild, Mila Braat.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Sister Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Robert Bayne officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Sister Springs Baptist Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Billy Freeman, Christian Freeman, Conner Freeman, Kevin Freeman, Jimmy Lord and Hayden Moreland.
In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the Montgomery Cancer Center, 4145 Carmichael Rd., Montgomery, AL 36106.
