William Frith

William Anthony "Tony" Frith age 67 of Gadsden, AL and formerly of Selma, passed away on June 16, 2022 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 27, 1954 to te late William Pettus Frith and the late Ruby Ford Frith.

He was a meat processor.

Tony is survived by his children, William Christopher Frith (Amanda), Joy Michelle Bellknap, Jennifer Caroline Hill (Tracey), Barry Matthew Childress, Mark Alan Childress (Anna), Wesley Cain Hartness (Rashae), and Meredith Elise Sides (Hunter); grandchildren, James Mason, Anna Caitlyn, Timothy Austin, Bethany, Jasmine, Emily, Michael, Gabe, Taylor, Dalton, Harper, Harlow, Kayden, and Kolton; his sweetheart, Sonia Wilkerson; and special friends, Mrs. Rita, Tyler, Lynn, Katie, and all of his friends at Edwards Grocery.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and granddaughter, Kiera-Faith Latham.

Funeral services will be held on Monday June 20, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Selma Funeral with Dr. Bill Gardner.

Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Mike Frith, Robert Young, Eric Brooks, Lee Robertson, Brett Moore, and Jake Averette.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Green, Jimmy Johnson, and Mike Cutler.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Final care and arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to the care of Selma Funeral Home.
