Wayne Deer, Sr.

Wayne Clifton Deer, Sr. passed away August 8, 2019 at the age of 72.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mancill Clifton Deer and Fannie Godwin Deer.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-one years, Patsy Rainwater Deer; children, Wayne Clifton Deer, Jr. (Camille), Christopher Allen Deer(Kristin); six grandchildren. Henley Hughes, Ashley Deer Wallis (Rob), Parker Hughes (Whitney), Mary Peyton Deer, Hudson Deer and Alyse Deer, and four great-grandchildren, Lillie Grace and Ella Wallis, Harper and Rowan Hughes.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with a celebration of life to follow at 2:00 p.m in the chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Pastor Dayne Massey officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing.
Wayne is celebrating with his Lord and Savior. Our sincere prayer is that all of his dear family and friends will know the Lord as well and be reunited with him one day.
