Wanda Duncan Ward

Wanda Duncan Ward of Valley Grande, Alabama passed away on May 10, 2024 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama at the age of 68.

She was born December 21, 1955 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Duncan.

She was retired from International Paper.

She leaves behind a legacy of love for family, including her husband, Gary Evans; her children, Mitzi Gilchrist (Brian), Tema Campbell (Eddie), Tony Ward (Shelia), Melissa Stephens (Gary), and Mary Evans (Jason Marion); 5 grandchildren; siblings, Charlie Duncan (Rhonda), Arthur Duncan (Candy), and Sammy Duncan (Carolyn).

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lucy (Cranmore) Duncan.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home.

Inurnment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens. 

The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
