Sherry Parker Campbell

Sherry Parker Campbell, 55,  of Clanton, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at her home.

She was born in Clanton, AL on February 20, 1967 to the late Earl Wade Mims and late Glinlyn Dawson Ray. 

Sherry was the owner of Parker’s Pool Company and Parker’s Trees.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Campbell; children, Walter (Lindsey) Parker, Adam (Jessica) Parker, Nicklous (Kaylan) Parker, and Colby Parker; grandchildren, Joden Parker, Londyn Parker, Ariella Parker, Maverick Parker; siblings, Donna Gore, Gregory (Jenni) Mims, Helen (Gary) Binion; a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and special friends, Audrey Graves, Monica Pate, and Crystal Connell.

She is preceded in death by her parents; children’s father, Scott Parker; brother-in-law, Wilbur Gore; and a host of aunts and uncles. 

Sherry was strong, courageous, determined, loud, and stubborn as a mule. But, to know her, was to love her; she embraced anyone that she thought needed help regardless if they did or not. She focused on making sure everyone was taken care of and no one was left without. Sherry loved her family and was a true example of a servant's heart and God’s love.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Clanton Church of God.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service starting at 12:00 p.m..

Entombment will follow in Clanton, AL at Martin Cemetery Mausoleum.

Pallbearers will be Walter Parker, Adam Parker, Nick Parker, Colby Parker, Aaron Binion, Brandon Mims, Bo Gore, and Andy Gore
