Ruth J. Lanier Schaak

Ruth J. Lanier Schaak of Valley Grande, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at her home at the age of 86.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by children, Jeannie (Michael) Beard, Don (Lily) Schaak, Tim (Stacey) Schaak, Beth (Freddy) Smith; grandchildren, Ethan Beard, Tiphani Beard, Chandler Schaak, Xander Schaak, Ashleigh Davis, Witneigh (Giovanni) Davis-Ramdani, Clint Schaak, Manda Zettle, Travis Schaak, Samantha Schaak, Connor Schaak, Grayson Schaak, Heather Blackmon and William Reed; and 15 great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, EW “Jack” Schaak; son, William “Bill” Schaak; and daughter, Brenda Reed.

The family will hold a funeral service at a later date. 

Final care and arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to the professional staff at the Selma Funeral Home.
