Ruby Raine

Ruby Rosalind Sims Raine, age 90, of Selma, AL, passed away November 12, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Ruby Sims; husband, Robert "Jake" Raine; infant son, Jamie Raine and brother, Wallace "Bubba" Sims.
Surviving are her children, Jule (Terry) Booker, Marybeth (Greg) Stone and Gena (Ricky) Camp; brothers, Tommy Sims and Freddie Sims; sister, Marty Sims Rayburn; grandchildren, George Robert (Deidre) Booker, Robert (Lauren) Stone, Greg Stone, Jr., Mary Raine Stone and Carly Williamson and great-grandchildren, Mary Martin, William and Reed.
She was an active charter member of Elkdale Baptist Church, where she raised her three daughters.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Guy Anderson officiating. Interment will be in New Live Oak Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Cedar Hill Assisted Living for the staff Christmas gifts, 1300 Old Orrville Road, Selma, AL, 36701.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of Cedar Hill Assisted Living for the love and kindness shown in caring for their mom and to Southern Care New Beacon Hospice.
