Robert M. Jacobs, age 53, of Valley Grande, AL passed away July 25, 2007.
He was preceded in death by his father, James N. Jacobs, Jr.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce Jacobs; mother, Betty Jacobs; two sons, Christopher M. (Pam) Jacobs and Justin A. Jacobs and his girlfriend, Courtney; two brothers, James N. (Bonnie) Jacobs, III and Steve (Geraldine) Jacobs; two sisters, Janet Stockman and Suzy (Joe) Harrell; mother-in-law, Faye Gray; sister-in-law, Shirley (Don) Seal and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 28, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Henry or Rev. Guy Anderson officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service at 9:30-11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Steve Tidwell, Mike Cutler, Mark Cooper, Phillip Free, Joey Holmes and Joe Goodman. Honorary pallbearers will be the Selma Police Department.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Elkdale Baptist Church, 2221 Elkdale Street, Selma, AL 36701 or to a favorite charity.
