Richard "Pete" K. Ferrell age 57 of Selma, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma.
He was born in Alexander City, Alabama on June 25, 1963 to Murphy R. Ferrell and the late Amy Brown Ferrell.
He was a welder.
He is survived by his daughter, Emily Ferrell; father, Murphy R. Ferrell (Linda); siblings, Rhonda Pugh (Boyd), Judy Ferrell, and Christopher "Chip" Ferrell (Allison); step-siblings, Michelle Glass, Robin Lambert (Dean), and Monica Rogers (Eric); nephews, Kevin Pugh, Aaron Pugh (Emily) Josh Ferrell (Andrea), and Tristan Ferrell; niece, Margaret Ferrell; great-niece, Emilia Pugh; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Amy Brown Ferrell.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande with Rev. Donald Harris officiating.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Michael MacPherson for not only his friendship to Pete, but for being a true brother to him.
There will be no visitation, everyone please meet in the cemetery.
