Myles Hamilton Agee, Sr.

Myles Hamilton Agee, Sr. of Valley Grande, Alabama, passed away at home on Monday, March 4, 2024 at the age of 85.

He was born on October 6, 1938 to the late Jerome Agee and the late Ruth Agee.

He was a traffic manager with Bush Hog and retired after 35 years. He loved his children and step-children, his precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a faithful member of Westwood Baptist Church. Myles loved to travel. He served in the National Guard for 15 years.

He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Betty Faye Ogle Agee; children, Patti (David) Buchanan, Myles H. Agee, Jr., Traci (Kenny) Denson, Pam Hain, and Mike (Shelby) Reid; grandchildren, Traci Anne Buchanan, David Wayne (Karyn) Buchanan, Jake (Sara) Denson, Sam Denson, Anna Beth Denson, Joey Hain, Abbie Hain, Noah (Laura) Reid and Schaffer (Anne) Reid; brother, Craig (Shelia) Agee; 13 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Robert (Wanda) Wood, Charles Ellis, Dr. Park Chittom II, and Maxine Stough.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Zack Agee, George Agee, Bobby Agee, Sylvia Stone and Juanita Emerson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Glen Brock officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m..
