Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” Guyton

Ronald “Ronnie” Hubert Guyton of Selma, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, December 25, 2023 at the age of 75.

He was born in Selma, Alabama on January 20, 1948 to the late Walter J. Guyton and the late Mary Frances Elliott Guyton.

He was a truck driver. Ronnie also served his country faithfully in the United States Army serving in Vietnam. He was a lifetime member of the Selma VFW Post 3016. Ronnie was a faithful member of Casey Church of Christ.

He is survived by his brother, Kenneth (Sally) Guyton; Niece, Caye Carscallen; Nephew, Frank Guyton; Aunt, Bernice Hineley; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special caregivers Staci Breland and Cindy Motley.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande with Minister Timothy Richburg officiating.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Waters, Dinky Webster, Robbie Bennett, Cotton Davis, Stuart Hand, and Mike Guyton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Motley, Bert Maroney, and Johnny Waters.

The family will receive friends on hour prior to the service on Saturday at the Selma Funeral Home.

Final care has been entrusted to the Selma Funeral Home of Valley Grande.
