Mary Elizabeth Norsworthy Harris, age 86 of Tyler passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Woodhaven Manor in Demopolis. She was born in Crenshaw County, Alabama on October 29, 1932, daughter of Edward Oscar Norsworthy and Alma Staggers Norsworthy.
She was a retail sales clerk for Kress-McCrory Department Store.
She is survived by her daughter, Debi Ann Murray (Chris); granddaughters, Stephanie Camille Halkias (Michael) and Rebecca Allison Wilson (Jacob); and siblings, David Norsworthy, Alice Acreman, and Dorothy Wright (Bobby).
She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry H. Harris; parents, Edward and Alma Norsworthy; son, Robert Wayne Harris; and a sister, Patricia Lowery.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Sister Springs Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m.
Burial will follow in the Sister Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Tyler.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
