Lucy K. "Tot" Dunaway, age 100, a resident of Selma, AL, passed away December 11, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William A, and Nettie Pitts Kynard; husband, Clyde F. Dunaway; son, Frank Dunaway; brothers, Pete Kynard, James Kynard, Bonner Kynard, Cecil Kynard and John Marvin Kynard; sisters, Antionette Williams, Sue Coon, Gladys Martin and Dorothy Haynes, and grandchild, Terri Lynn Dunaway.
Surviving are her son, Cecil (Betsy) Dunaway; daughter, Miriam (Sonny) Pfeiffer; brother, Jack Kynard; sister, Frances Williams; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Pineview Memory Gardens with Rev. Micah Gandy officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, December 14, 2007 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Cecil Kynard, Raymond Kynard, Bill Kynard, Bobby Martin, David Martin and Tom Coon.
Mrs. Dunaway was the oldest living member of Elkdale Baptist Church. She received her nursing degree at the age of 67 and she also loved to travel.
