Lorene Waites Galloway age 89, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2007.
Mrs. Galloway is survived by her husband Jack Galloway; sons, James Donald (Rita) Waites and Kenneth Randy (Jamie) Waites; daughters, Jacquelyn Agee (Norm) Trotter, and Gail G. Myers; brother, James (Mae) Walker; sisters, Agnes Hines, Bernice (Ernie) Young and Lois Thrasher; Grandchildren, Ricky (Jenny) Agee, Patrick (Casey) Waites, Tobby Jack Waites, Jeffery (Suzanne) Waites, Casey Waites, Katie (Keith) Bodiford, Jenny (Sean) Gloer, and Mary Beth Clackler; great grandchildren, Shelby Agee, Alex Waites, Jeffery Waites, Jr., Jennifer Allen, Peyton Cunningham, Porter Waites, Walker Waites, Hunter Clackler, Daniel Bodiford and Alden Gloer; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jack" Waites, brother, Percy M. Walker, sister, Ethel W. Young, and parents, Marion E. and Julia Tubbs Walker.
Mrs. Galloway was a longtime member of Elkdale Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Monday, July 23 from 6 - 8 P.M. with funeral services Tuesday, July 24 10:30 A.M. in the chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Rev. Micah Gandy officiating. Interment will follow the service in Pineview Memory Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Agee, Tobby Waites, Jeffery Waites, Patrick Waites, Johnny Kennedy and David Walker.
