Kenneth Lackey Hopkins, Sr, age 75 of Selma, passed away on Thursday July 22, 2021 at his home.
He was born July 1, 1946 to the late Hugh L. Hopkins and the late Martha Beatrice Lackey Hopkins.
He is survived by his loving wife, Paula Morgan Hopkins; children, Kenneth L. Hopkins, Jr. and Kristina Hopkins Roberts (Clif); grandchildren, Trent S. Stockman (Alejandra), Gary M. Roberts, Gates R. Hopkins, and Ashley M. Roberts; great-granddaughter, Abryanna G. Stockman, and siblings, Mary Joyce Hopkins Reaves and Linda Kay Hopkins Harrison (Robert).
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dennis Hugh Hopkins.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from the Valley Grande Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m.
A private family burial will take place at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 on Tuesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Heart Association, The Parkinson's Association, Valley Grande Baptist Church, or the favorite charity of your choice.
