Joyce Peden Moss, age 75, of Fulton, AL, passed away on September 25, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Florence, AL on December 7, 1945.
Joyce was a nurse for nearly 40 years. She loved helping people and spending time with her family. She loves watching football and soap operas. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She was kindhearted and loved her family. She never met a stranger in person and left a positive impression on everyone she met.
She is survived by her children, daughter, Valerie Eads; son, Jessie Moss Jr. (Tracey Vickery); daughters, Sherri Moss (George Fort) and Terri Moss Reed (Bob); Thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; cousin, Rosemary Nelson (Jack); and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 24 years, Jessie Moss Sr.; son, Wesley Hyte; her parents, Harold and Elizabeth Johnson; and daughter-in-law, Tina Moss.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 2 p.m. from the Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nate Ballard officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be; Jessie Moss Jr., Jessie Edward Moss, Brandon Moss, Justin Moss, Rodney Braswell, and Scott Braswell.
