Jimmie Poe

Jimmie David Poe, age 94, of Selma, AL, passed away February 10, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie David and Maslene Poe. Surviving are his wife, Irma Poe; daughter, Lisa Poe Lewis; brother, David Poe; sisters, Virginia Poe Hughes and Rebecca Julia Poe Udijohn; grandchildren, Jimmie Harrison Lewis, Ada Morgan Lewis and Carol Ann Lewis; great-grandchildren, Thomas Jackson Lewis, Thomas Luke Williams and Wylee Albert "Albee" Lewis, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL with Rev. Billy Alexander officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to 2018 Selma Area, National Foundation for Cancer Research, Rockville, MD, 20852.
