James Glaze

James Marshall "Buddy" Glaze age 89 of Tuscaloosa and formerly of Selma, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Heritage Health Care & Rehab in Tuscaloosa.
He was born in Alabama on January 14, 1932 to the late Harrison Edward Glaze and the late Ethel Ousley Glaze.
He was a retired truck driver. He also served his country faithfully in Unites States Marine Corps.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorthey "Dot" Glaze; brothers, Robert Earl Glaze (June), Paul Edward Glaze, Kenneth Bayne Glaze (Jean), and Martin Wayne Glaze (Becky); and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Louise Lenoir.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm from the Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Shane Ogle officiating.
Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
