Henry Wilson Gill age 75 of Selma, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the Lighthouse Nursing Home.
He was born in Uniontown on October 4, 1946 to the late Robert Gill and the late Cluster Johnson Gill.
He retired after 46 years of service to Winn-Dixie as the produce manager.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Gill; children, Teresa (Craig) Smitherman and Tommy (Betty Carol) Swindle; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Marie Epps; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sarah Gibbs.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery in Selma with Rev. Joshua Gill officiating.
Pallbearers will be Cory Jones, Robert Wiese, Alex Smitherman, Tommy Swindle, Andrew Swindle, and Josh McClellan.
Honorary pallbearers will be his life-long fiends and co-workers, Larry Crane, Harold Beggs, Ralph Sealy, Charlie Worrell, Lou Bradberry, Willie Bonner, and Richard Krunosky.
There will be no visitation, everyone please meet at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association at 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
