Grace White

Ms. Grace White age 99 of Marion, AL, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at her home. She was born October 27, 1920 to the late Homer Jerome Edwards and Maggie Ivie Edwards.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Dorothy White Murphy, Emily White (John O.) Moore; Jimmy (Sarah) White, and John White; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Carson White; daughter, Betty White Langford; son, Freddie Jerome White; parents, Homer and Maggie Edwards; sons-in-law, Rondy Joe Langford and James Blake Murphy, Sr.; siblings, Bill, Theodore, Emogene, Clementine, Quinton, Mildred, Louie, and Ila; and a niece, Eloise.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2020 from the Pisgah Baptist Church in Sprott at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Ingram officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be great-grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Reed and Pat Reed.
All family and friends are welcome to attend the services. However, the family encourages social distancing and face coverings, if desired.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to Selma Funeral Home.
