Faye Skinner Gray age 88 of Selma, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Baptist Hospital South in Montgomery.
She was born in Alabama on August 26, 1932 to the late Jessie A. Skinner and the late Edna Majors Skinner.
She was retired from civil service after 30 years of service in various capacities.
She is survived by her daughters, Shirley (Don) Seal and Joyce Jacobs (Garry Hopkins); grandchildren, Michael Seal (Lisa), Christopher Jacobs (Pam), and Justin Jacobs (Courtney); great-grandchildren, Siena Seal, Andrew Jacobs, Taya Jacobs, and Walter Jacobs; brother-in-law, Deke Gray; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Edna Skinner; husband, Howard M. Gray, Jr., and son-in-law, Robert Jacobs.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 11:00 am at Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande with Rev. J.B. Brown officiating.
The family will receive friends on Thursday at Selma Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Elkdale Baptist Church.
