Elenor Azalea Smith age 96 of Selma, passed away on November 4, 2019 at Hatley Healthcare in Clanton. She was born in Alabama on December 25, 1922 to the late Edward Smith and the late Hixie Willis Smith.
She was a former accountant with various accounting firms and served a majority of her work life in the accounting department for Washington Street Supermarket.
She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Hixie Smith; brothers, Joe Smith, Baxter Smith, Malcom Smith, and Will Smith; and sisters, Sybil Smith, Gertiewyl Smith, and Alice Christiansen.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home on Friday.
Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to Selma Funeral Home.
