Dorothy Ann Melton, the wife of Troy Melton of Valley Grande, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma.

She was born in Thomasville on January 31, 1975 to Billy Pritchett, Sr. and Betty Boutwell Pritchett.

She was a firearm saleslady with Walter Craig.

She is survived by her loving husband, Troy Melton; children, Kevin Davis, Brittany Anderson (Timothy), Hannah Melton (Reggie Dwight), and Nicholas Milstead; grandchildren, Aurora Davis, Tristan Anderson, London Anderson, Kynsley Anderson, Jackson Anderson, AnnMarie Dwight, Aiden Dwight, and Carson Milstead; parents, Billy and Betty Pritchett; brother, Billy Pritchett, Jr.; nieces, Kaylee Pritchett and Alyssa Pritchett; and uncle, Randy Boutwell.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Dorothy and Henry Boutwell.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Crosspoint Christian Church in Selma with Rev. Alan Yarbrough and Rev. David Nichols.

Interment will follow in the Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville.

Pallbearers will be David Whetstone, Joey Dulaney, Kevin Davis, Roger Chandler, Timothy Anderson, and Jeremy Crowe.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial may be made to Crosspoint Christian Church.

Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Selma Funeral Home.
