Dorothy Jean McCullough Chandler age 89 of Jones, Alabama passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Prattville Baptist Hospital.
She was born on November 14, 1932 to the late Jessie McCullough and the late Hattie Mae Patterson McCullough.
She was a former store clerk.
Mrs. Chandler is survived by her children, Audrey (Billy) Quarles and Walter (Barbara) Chandler; grandchildren, Brad (Monica) Chandler and Adam (Mercedes) Chandler; great-grandchildren, JoAnna Chandler, Knox Chandler, and Camdyn Gray.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter "Joe" Chandler; and her siblings, JW McCullough, Harold McCullough, Mary Alice DeRamus, Maureen Croy, Evelyn Arthur, and Jessie Mae Morris
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from the Milton Baptist Church in Jones with Dr. Tom Tucker and Rec. Paul Atchison officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bill Benton, DeWayne Chandler, Wayne Walker, Landon Johnson, Billy Caver, and Josh Bishop.
Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Chandler and Lawrence Chandler.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Selma Funeral Home.
