David Earl Small, Sr., age 57, of Valley Grande, AL passed away October 27, 2007.
He was preceded in death by his father, William H. Small.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Peggy Small; his mother, Ruby Davis Small; sons, David Small, Jr. and Matthew Small; daughter, Stacy Small; brothers, Billy Small, James Small and Jack Small; sisters, Marion Sheppard and Janice Castle; grandchildren, Jennifer Small, Jeffrey Small and Logan Small; brothers-in-law, Ken Ratliff and Danny Ratliff; sisters-in-law, Liz Ratliff and Becky Jenkins and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Pineview Memory Gardens with Rev. Bill Gardner officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
David enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and hiking. He worked for the Selma Fire Dept. and Selma Telecable. He also worked with Boy Scout Troop 126 with the United Memorial Methodist Church for 20 years.
