David Phillips age 65 of Selma, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at his favorite place, his hunting camp in Tyler.
He was born on October 4, 1956 to the late Ollie Jeff Phillips and the late Gertrude Ida Williams Phillips.
He is survived by his siblings; Betty Jane Coston and James "Shorty" Phillips, Sr. (Debbie); nieces and nephews, Amanda Latham Frith (Chris), Eric Wayne Brooks (Beverly), James M. Phillips, Jr., Tammy Phillips Sellers (John), Barbara Ann Smith (Gerald), Elizabeth Ann "Sissy" Collins (Jim), Michael Lynn Greene, Carolyn "Sue" Chambers (Rodney), Alan McGowan, and Sue Ann Osburn.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, OJ "Sonny" Phillips, Harvey Phillips, Katherine McGowan, June Greene, Earl Phillips, and Robert Phillips; and nephew. Jeffrey McGowan.
The family will hold a celebration of life service at a later date.
Final care and arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to the care of Selma Funeral Home.
