David Daniels

Mr. David William Daniels of Selma passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, February 10, 2023 at the age of 91.

David was born in Selma, Alabama on February 3, 1932  to the late David Daniels and the late Bessie Daniels.

He was the owner of Selma Battery.

He loved his Church Family.

He is survived by his children, David M. Daniels, Debbie Walker (Wayne) and Mark J. Daniels (Patti); grandchildren, Brandon Smith (Brandi), Jennifer Sansom (Brendan), Layne Flournoy (Molly), Scarlett E. Veverka (Travis), Trent Flournoy, David R. Daniels (Johnann), Ryan N. Daniels (Brooke), Trey Walker (Terri), Toni Galloway (Phil) ,Leslie Motley; great-grandchildren, Ellie Sansom, Evie Sansom, Ellis Flournoy, Beau Flournoy, Justice Daniels, Alyssa Daniels, Addison Daniels, Thomas Nichols (Savannah), Chloe Motley, Walker Motley, Karson Daniels, Jean Daniels, Wyatt Veverka and Grace Veverka and close friend, Eleanor Aldridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Bessie Daniels; his wife, Emma Jean Daniels and sister, Joyce Hill.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ocmulgee Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Sumerlin and Bro. Bill Goodwin officiating.

Burial will follow in Ocmulgee Cemetery.

The grandson's will serve as Pallbearers.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the Church beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Final care and arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to the care of the Selma Funeral Home.
