Curtis "Bubba" Hollingshead age 81 of Hayneville, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
He was born in Alabama on January 17, 1940 to the late Thomas H. Hollingshead and the late Willie Mae Harris Hollingshead.
He was a mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Ernestine Hollingshead; children, Mary Dell Huston (Wade), Sandy Jones, Wayne Hollingshead (April), and Susan Hollingshead (Ronnie Moseley); grandchildren, Brandy Hughey (Jeremy), Stephanie Huston (CJ Marvin), Christopher Hollingshead (Morgan) Tyler Huston, Jami Hollingshead, and Brian Rayburn; great-grandson, Jackson Hollingshead; son-in-law, Kenneth Jones; siblings, Kathryn Smith and Ray Hollingshead (Janet); numerous nieces and nephews; and close friends, Milton Holladay and Rhett Johnson.
He is preceded in death by his parents and numerous brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 2:00pm at Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande.
The family will receive friends on Friday at Selma Funeral Home from 1-2pm.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Huston, Wayne Hollingshead, Ronnie Moseley, Chris Hollingshead, Brian Rayburn, and Wade Huston.
Honorary pallbearer will be Robert Dunkin.
