Clyde Hopkins, Sr.

Clyde Houston Hopkins, Sr. passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the age of 78. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Fay Hopkins; parents, Joseph David and Madolene Stone Hopkins; brother, David Hopkins. He is survived by his children, Clyde Houston Hopkins, Jr. (Gina), Tammie Frost (Scott), Cammie Woodruff (Mark); sister, Geraldine Dixon (Doyle); sister in law, Shirley Hopkins; grandchildren, Riley Hopkins, Sawyer Hopkins, Lucy Hopkins, Anna Fay Frost, Logan Frost, Amelia Frost, Julia Woodruff, Suzy Woodruff and Lori Woodruff. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Ken Blake officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. His family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Northside Baptist Church General Fund, 2950 Citizens Pkwy, Selma, AL 36701
