Cheryl York

Cheryl Reed York of Selma passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Selma Health and Rehab at the age of 56.

She was born on April 1, 1966 in Evergreen, Alabama to the late John W. Reed, Sr. and the late Bonnie Jeffcoat Reed.

Cheryl work many years as a telemarketer and sales associate for Talton Communications.

She is survived by her husband, Mark York; children, Kayla (Chris) Vardaman and Shelby (Emily) York; grandchildren, Braylen Mitchell and Weston York; and her siblings, John (Julie) Reed, Jr., Paul (Sandy) Reed, and Rose Osburn.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her step-father, Gary Holst.

A celebration of Cheryl's life will held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Selma Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
