Charles Thomas "Tom" Mills, Jr. age 74 of Selma, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
He was born in Ohio on December 19,1947 to the late Charles Mills, Sr. and Maggie Gregory Mills.
He was a retired Network Manager for Bellsouth.
Tom served his country faithfully in the United States Air Force. He loved to woodwork and make arts and crafts in his free time. One of his greatest loves was fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Myrtice Mills; children, Charles Edwin Mills, Joseph Mills, Jennifer Lynch, Chris (Sharon Szczuka) Mills, Lisa Kauffman, Paul (Heather) Croasdell, Jean Marie Rivers, David Trautsch; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and siblings, Cindy, Tillie, and Greg. .
He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter-in-law, Darling Mills.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. from Crosspoint Christian Church with
Rev. David Nichols officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday at the church.
Final care and arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to the care of Selma Funeral Home.
