Barbara Ann "Bobbie" Yarbrough, age 74, passed away Thursday, Jan 31, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herschel Clay Yarbrough and grandson Lucas Alan Yarbrough.
Surviving is her son, Rev. Alan (Pam) Yarbrough, daughter Yolande "Londie" (William) Turberville; brother, Ralph Smith; sister, Wanda Thomas; grandchildren Paul Bender, Austin Bender, Josh Yarbrough and Joel Yarbrough; great-grandchildren Tanner Bender, Mary Katharine Bender and Preston Bender.
Mrs. Yarbrough was an avid collector of clowns, jewelry, clothes, shoes and Elvis memorabilia and enjoyed roller skating, music and watching television.
Visitation for Mrs. Yarbrough will be held on February 3, 2008 from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. in the sanctuary of Crosspoint Christian Church. Her funeral service will begin at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Joe Britton officiating. Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Clay Dean, Jeremy Gardner, Austin Bender, Josh Yarbrough, Joel Yarbrough and Nick Cravato.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Warren Manor Nursing Home and also Cahaba Hospice for their service to Mrs. Yarbrough.
