Alvin Duncan

Mr. Alvin Jadie Duncan age 82 of Valley Grande, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 at his home. He was born in Perry County, Alabama on December 17, 1937 to the late Leonard Duncan and the Annie Crocker Duncan.
He was a former delivery driver for Stuart C. Irby.
He is survived by his children, Alvin Michael Duncan (Angela), Arthur Steven Duncan (Shannon), and Sarah Annette McBee (Steve); grandchildren, Janice Michelle Donnahoo (Kevin), Michael Shane Duncan, Jason Eugene Duncan (Karri) Heather Gail Yarbrough (Wes), Amber Lorraine Robitaille (Brian), Stephanie Nicole Duncan, Tiffany Anne Cargile (Jonathan), Emile Kathryn Powell (Jerry), Shawna Leighann Duncan, Prestn Bryant Duncan, Sarah Hope Freeman, Steven Jadie Duncan, and Joshua Thomas Duncan; a host of great-grandchildren; and sister, Mattie Loyace Rezendes (Wally).
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Duncan; parents, Leonard and Annie Duncan; son, Rickey Lawrence Duncan; and siblings, Roy Duncan, Robert Duncan, and Annie Perry.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. from the Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gervis Smith officiating.
Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers will be nephews.
Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to Selma Funeral Home.
