Stephen Michael Davidson, Sr. age 62 of Selma, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. He was born in Wichita, Kansas on November 9, 1959, to the late Bennie D. Davidson and the late Sarah E. Bozeman Davidson. Mr. Davidson served his country faithfully in the United States Coast Guard. He was a retired Sheriff’s Deputy with the Dallas County Sherriff’s Department. He leaves behind his loving wife of 22 years, Tammy Miley Davidson; his sons, Stephen Michael Davidson, Jr., and Kevin Daniel Davidson (Amber); his siblings, Nancy Autrey (Lonnie), Bennie D. Davidson, Jr. (Brenda), and Jimmy Davidson (Kay); and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Bennie D. Davidson, Sr.; mother, Sara E. Davidson Swift; step-father, George "Capt." Swift; and his sister, Elizabeth Diane Fulmer. Graveside services will be held at Pineview Memory Gardens on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with Curtis Miley officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at Selma Funeral Home. Mr. Davidson’s nephews will serve as pallbearers. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Final care and arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to the care of Selma Funeral Home.
