Peggy S. Brech

April 29, 1938 - February 22, 2011

Peggy S. Brech, age 72, of Valley Grande, AL, went to Heaven to be with our Lord February 22, 2011. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Brech; parents, Claude A. and Pinkie Sherrer and sister, Rosemary Sherrer. Surviving are her husband of fifty-four years, Ronnie Brech; sons, Randy (Monique) Brech and Scott (Wanda) Brech; daughters, Dana Brech and Ginger Brech; brother, Claude A. Sherrer, Jr.; sister-in-law, Doris Cox and grandchildren, Anthony LoTempio, Wesley Brech, Garrett Brech, Anna Brech and Sarah Brech. Funeral services will be Friday, February 25, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Glenn Smith officiating. Interment will be in New Live Oak Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ryan McDowell, Paul Bearden, Tony Moore, James Godwin, Parry Chapman and Billy Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be John Paul Bearden, Richard Davis, Todd Byrd, Majors Eric and Tonya Roberts, Nick Stevens, Chester Lewis, Tom Moore, Emil Miehlke, Jesse Sanchez and Dr. Sam Saliba. Peggy was a loving, Godly mother, grandmother and a wonderful friend to all who knew her. She taught Sunday School at Memorial United Methodist Church and loved all the kids and was founder of the Kids Night Out Program. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Kids Night Out Program at Memorial United Methodist Church, 2150 Broad Street, Selma, AL, 36701.
