Ouida Faye Chandler, age 89, of Plantersville, AL, passed away June 13, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nubern E. Chandler; parents, Percy and Faye Wyatt; brothers, W. V. Wyatt and J. P. Wyatt and sister, Mary Meyers. Surviving are her children, Phillip (Frankie) Chandler, Lawrence (Melba) Chandler, Barbara (Norman) Copeland and Sara (Joe) Roper; ten grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be Friday, June 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Art Hartley and Rev. Calvin Strickland officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Billy Copeland, Jared Chandler, Keith Morris, Craig Badgley, Chris Duke, Ralph Mims, Mark Chandler and Justin Chandler.
