Louis E. Watters age 92 of Selma, passed away on Thursday, January, 20, 2022 at Selma Health and Rehab.
He was born in Alabama on June 24, 1929 to the late Jesse Watters and Ola Harris Watters.
He retired after a full life of service to the United States Air Force as a mechanic.
He is survived by his nephew; Robert (Mary) Fitts; nephew, Jerry Wayne (Louanna) Fitts; niece, Carolyn Crowley; nephew, Patrick (Jacquelyn) Durden; nephew, Danny (Pat) Durden; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Otis Watters, Lucille Hurd, Ruby Nell Durden, Mary Hancock, and Dera May Fitts.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery in Selma with Shane D. Ogle officiating
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the charity of your choice.
There will be no visitation, everyone please meet at the cemetery.
