Jean Hale Rimmer, age 77, passed away peacefully at home on May 23, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Rimmer and parents, Robert L. and Edith Hale; brother, John Allen Hale and stepson, Patrick C. Rimmer.
Surviving are her children, Richard M. (Karlene) Boozer, Jr. and Deborah Boozer (Robert W. Brown; step-children, Christopher H. Rimmer, Daniel T. (Anne) Rimmer, Jamie R. (Toby) Vinson, Melannie R. (Jeff) Layne and Brenda Rimmer; brother, John Allen Hale; grandchildren, Jim Boozer and Jennie Brown; step-grandchildren, Katherine (Doug) McKay, Davis Vinson, Kimberly (Brandon) Fritts, Joshua (Rebekah) Rimmer, Cissy Rimmer, Jordan (Amanda) Rimmer, Gerald Rimmer, James Rimmer, Megan (Chad) Adams, Hannah Layner, Lily Rimmer, Mistie Caver and Jackson Rimmer and step-great-grandchildren, Finley McKay, Ellison McKay, Adeline McKay, Hudson Adams, Erin Odom and Ally Odom.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Selma Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Kopp officiating. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Boozer, Bobby Brown, Jim Boozer, John Brian Hale, John Lackeos and Jesse Sanchez.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Memorial Methodist Church, 2150 Broad Street, Selma, AL, 36701.
