Doris Rowell

Doris Jean Lowery Rowell, age 81. of Helena, AL and formerly of Selma, AL, passed away September 16, 2017. Doris graduated in 1953 from A. G. Parrish High School in Selma, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Nathaniel and Ruth Hughes Lowery. She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Robert Edmond Rowell; children, Robert Steven Rowell and James Lowery (Dawn) Rowell and two grandchildren, Jamie Erin Rowell and Wilson Lowery Rowell. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. Interment will be in New Live Oak Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans, P. O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
