Darrel McIlwain

Darrel McIlwain, age 58, of Selma, AL, passed away January 4, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallie and Flora Mae McIlwain. Surviving are his wife, Pamela Lawrence McIlwain; children, Jennifer (Phillip) Farrior, Matthew McIlwain, Lindsey McIlwain and Cole McIlwain; brothers, George (Libby) Thompson, Peter (Polly) Thompson and Donald Thompson; sisters, Evelyn Donaldson, Shirley Locke, Sharron Sheffield (Gerald) Mott, Glenda (Jimmie) Beech and Beverly Jones, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Living Waters Church with Rev. Bob Young and Rev. Matthew Klimis officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Friday, January 6, 2017 from 5-7:00 p.m.at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Brian Wilkinson, Eric Wilkinson, Kevin Bell, Juston Carter, Nicholas Hill and Phillip Hemphill. Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.
